Nestled up in the Pocono Mountains, Louie’s Prime Steak House is one of the best restaurants around. If you’ve spent a long day riding the slopes at Big Boulder or Jack Frost, chances are you could go for a rustic steak dinner. Quaint and elegant with very few tables, you’ll need to make a reservation to get in this hot-spot during the peak hours of the winter. This steakhouse is New York style, complete with aged NY strip to cold water lobster tail.
We opted for the crab martini because, why not? Expecting a few, light bites of crab, we were shocked at the sight of the HUGE pieces of jumbo lump crab that were garnished with olives and tomatoes and served with cocktail sauce. If you’re a crab lover, make sure this is a part of your meal.
This hidden gem is truly a favorite in the Poconos, which doesn’t have much of a great restaurant reputation.
